Dr. Vanessa Jordan
Partner
Vanessa brings wide-ranging experience in education as a former classroom teacher, district administrator, community organizer, professor, and parent. She co-founded the NYC Teaching Collaborative, a top-ranked teacher preparation program for the city’s highest need schools. Since, she has supported the creation and expansion of a number of teacher credentialing and teacher leadership programs.
Vanessa holds a doctorate in Organizational Change and Leadership from USC’s Rossier School of Education.
Dr. Crystel Harris

Crystel Harris partners with organizations and entrepreneurs committed to diversifying and strengthening the teaching workforce. She was the Founding Director of NYC Men Teach, which addresses the national shortage of male teachers of color through strategic recruitment, training, and mentorship. Crystel also co-founded the NYC Teaching Collaborative, a highly-ranked teacher residency program, and the Teacher Impact Collaborative, a non-profit organization advising districts on effective diversity and inclusion practices. As the Chief Experience Officer at Educators Thriving, Crystel focuses on the social-emotional wellness of early-career teachers.
Crystel holds a doctorate in Educational Leadership from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
